Default Don't worry

Hey, Don't worry... Those are stretch marks. You're family doctor was right. They can be caused by a growth spurt or weight gain or anything else that causes your skin to stretch too quickly or too much. Pregnant woman almost always get them on their breast and on their stomachs. Its not odd that they showed up on your thighs. I hit puberty and went from flat to a C in a amazingly short amount of time. It usually doesn't and they are generally a reddish or purplish color when they first show up but no worries, they turn to a silvery peachy white after a while. Granted they never go away completely but they do fade. Applying Coco Butter should help surrounding skin stay soft and elasticy enough to withstand more.

Exclamation this might be diffrent...

I have a smiler skin problem (well it looks the same to be true). i have had my problem for over 3 years and it hasn't been getting better. I always had the same weight and i only have grown a few inches. i have gone to various skin specialists and they all say it's just simple "stretch marks" however non of them has been able to fix it. I have had laser on them various strong chemicals put on my "stretch marks" and they never change, and they always looked the same to be (no colour change only became bigger now they stopped growing) yet they are starting to appear on my shoulders which i think is a very strange place for "stretch marks" to appear on... if anyone know what this is please contact me and skyfen145.

Thanks
