Hemangiomas...........
Hello,friend.
Thanks for your question.
Hemangiomas are unusually thick collection of dilated small blood capillaries. They appear within a week or two after birth of infant. They may occur anywhere on the skin or internal organs but most often found on the head and neck. Children can develop a single lesion or with smaller related hemangiomas.
In most cases most lesions disappear on their own with time. But in case of complications surgical operation
is preferred. At present; lasers have been used to reduce Hemangiomas. Yellow light of laser damage the vessels in the Hemangiomas without damaging patient’s skin. In other way they are healed by combination of laser and steroid injections. Other treatments include surgical excision, alpha interferon therapy and rarely embolization or scelerotherapy.
